Important: The New Mexico Secretary of State directs voters to verify specific hours and locations with their County Clerk or NMVote.org, as these details vary by county and site.

Same Day Registration Requirements: Bring a physical form of identification issued by the federal government, state government, federally recognized Indian nation/tribe/pueblo, or educational institution that contains your name and photograph. If that identification does not include the address you are using for voter registration, you should also bring a copy of your utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other document dated within 90 days showing your name and address. You may want to have this extra identification with you just in case.
